How to Measure Your Vanity Base

Three numbers get you 90% of the way. When in doubt, send a photo with rough numbers and we’ll confirm the drawing before anything is cut.

1 · Width & Depth

Measure wall-to-wall across the opening, and note the countertop overhang. 21″ deep is standard; 18″ suits slim installs.

2 · Height

30–32″ is builder standard, 34–36″ comfort height. ADA installs cap the rim at 34″ — ask us for an ADA quote.

3 · Plumbing

Note the drain and supply centerlines. A drawer bank at the sink gets a U-notched box or a false front to clear the P-trap.

Questions

Custom Vanity Bases FAQ

What construction types are available?

Frameless (full-access), face-frame, and inset. Frameless full-overlay is the modern standard; inset runs a uniform 1/8″ reveal and is quoted individually.

What hardware do you use?

Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION hinges and MOVENTO/TANDEM undermount soft-close slides, with a curated set of real, orderable pulls — or hardware-free with Blum TIP-ON push-to-open.

Can it be wall-mounted / floating?

Yes — floating bases mount on a rated bracket (A&M Hardware, 1,100 lb) and require solid in-wall blocking. The spec sheet includes the bracket and blocking callouts.

How does the sink fit?

The layout adapts: a drawer bank at the sink gets a U-notched top drawer that clears the P-trap, or a fixed false front. Sink centerlines print on the drawing.

What finishes hold up in a bathroom?

Moisture-resistant substrates with a catalyzed 2K polyurethane or conversion-varnish film — sealed on all six sides.
