How to Measure Your Scoop Sink

A few measurements define the basin. Send a photo with your rough numbers and we’ll confirm the drawing before anything is fabricated.

01

Size

Give the overall length and width of the basin opening, plus the finished basin depth from rim to the bottom of the scoop.

02

Drain

Note where the drain sits along the length — centered, or offset left or right — and the scoop will channel to it.

03

Height

Measure the sink height so the rim and apron land at the right elevation on your counter or cabinet.

Questions

Custom Scoop Sinks FAQ

What are scoop sinks made from?

Solid surface — a seamless, non-porous material with no joints or grout lines, made to order in your chosen color and finish.

What makes a scoop sink different?

The basin floor is deeply scooped and channels water smoothly toward the drain, so nothing pools. It is a fully seamless bowl with a generous depth — ideal for washing large or awkward items.

How do I measure for a scoop sink?

Give the overall length and width, the basin depth, the drain position and the sink height. The configurator accepts your exact dimensions to half-inch precision with a live plan and section drawing.

Where are scoop sinks used?

Utility rooms, commercial kitchens, labs and healthcare spaces — anywhere a deep, seamless, self-draining basin matters, with a non-porous surface that stays easy to keep clean.

How precise are the finished dimensions?

Every scoop sink is made to your exact dimensions, cut to machine accuracy.

Custom Scoop Sinks

A scoop sink has a floor that sweeps down to the drain rather than sitting flat, so water clears instead of pooling in the corners. Bonded into the deck and sanded flush like every basin in the range. Configure it online and receive a dimensioned, fabrication-ready spec sheet with a plan and a section, cut to machine accuracy.

Water goes where it should

A flat-bottomed basin leaves a film after every use, and that film is what leaves marks on a dark finish. A swept floor falls continuously to the outlet, so the bowl drains itself.

Deepest at the drain

The section is deepest at the outlet and shallowest at the front, which keeps the usable volume where it is wanted without making the basin feel like a bucket.

Where it suits

Vanities and washrooms in daily use, and dark or patterned finishes where standing water would otherwise show.

How to measure

Give the countertop dimensions, the basin position along the run and the drain location. The bowl is drawn into the top as one piece, so the two are specified together rather than bought separately. Send a photograph with the rough numbers and the drawing is confirmed before anything is cut.
